Cat5 Cables
- Cat5( Category5 ) is an Ethernet network cable standard.
- It contains four pairs of copper wire supporting Fast Ethernet speed(100 Mbps).
- It only uses two pairs of copper wire for Fast ethernet communcations.
- Newer version Cat5e(enhansed) cable designed for better support speeds(1000Mbps).
- Cat5 cables are multimode cables which transfer data digitally in the form of light beam.
