Supplier

A supplier is a entity who supplies goods or services to other organisation. Supplier is usually a manufacturer or distributor who is a part of supply chain. He is also called vendor.

Manufacturing business is about using components, parts or raw materials to make a finished product. 








Manufacturer takes raw materials from supplier using which he produces the finished goods and supplies to customer that may be distributor or re-seller.


Distributor or Re-seller as Customer

Manufacturer supplies goods to distributor to in-turn resell the products to retailers or directly to customers.



Distributor

Distributor is a person or entity that buys noncompeting products from manufacturer, warehouses them and resells them to the retailers or directly to the end users of the company.



Re-seller

Re-seller is a person or company who buy goods from manufacture and re-sales for profit. Also called distributor.














Fabricator

Fabricator is a person who constructs or manufactures something from raw materials or semi-finished goods into finished goods.
